Seeing as how the homeowner was going through some health issues, Agassiz Roofing replaced the entire roof at no cost, and we made sure it was done properly!

At first glance, the roof appeared to be in decent condition. But up close and as we started to remove the old shingles it was clear this “roofer” wasn’t experienced and it was pretty obvious as to why the roof has leaked ever since been installed. Shingle seams were too close to each other. Ice and water shield was missing in places. Rotted wood was covered up. Improper drip edge was used. And no synthetic underlayment was used on a planked deck.

Here are some tips to make sure you’re hiring a professional roofer:

-Make sure they’re insured, ask for proof!
-Make sure they have WCB coverage, ask for proof!
-Get an estimate in writing!
-Get their warranty in writing!
-Ask for references!
-Get multiple quotes from different companies and make sure you’re comparing apples to apples with products in said quotes.
